A five-minute reflection practice
A simple daily ritual for adults who want more awareness without another productivity system.
Reflection does not require a leather journal or a silent retreat. It requires a pause you will actually take.
The practice
Each evening, answer three prompts in under five minutes:
- What drained me today? (Be specific, not dramatic.)
- What gave me a little energy? (Even something tiny.)
- What will I protect tomorrow? (One boundary or one priority.)
That is the whole practice. No scoring. No streaks. Consistency beats intensity.
Why this helps parents
When we parent from depletion, we reach for control. When we notice our own patterns, we create room — for our children and ourselves.
